This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Since people have been introducing me to good local food here I've been plotting a revenge. And by revenge I mean that if there is ever ceasefire and one or more of you will come, there are places that I need to introduce you to. Places such as these: [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] and other places in East Jerusalem and the Market come to mind.

Just sayin'.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

All set for San Francisco.

Staying near the Majestic as they were booked. Just a few blocks away at the Epik.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Important pre-packing question - is there anyone staying at the Majestic next weekend who can help me with a corset on Saturday night?

Apparently if you're enough of a power nerd, there is nothing that cannot be flowcharted.

I’m your gal!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, hang on, I might fit back into my corset again.

(As it is, I just tried on a shit ton of old dresses in search of something for Saturday that could be fairly described as a frock. I unexpectedly found plenty of things I’d be excited to wear. And still went out and bought a bunch of new shit. I may need to invest in a steamer trunk. Which at least would be location-appropriate so there’s that.)

I'm annoyed because a dress I ordered 4 weeks ago from eShakti has still not been shipped. (In their defense, the confirmation email does say "Your order is estimated to be delivered in approximately 2-4 weeks," so they're not technically late.) I bought it mostly for our niece's wedding next weekend, but I wanted to wear it to the memorial, too. I have plenty of other dresses, though, so I have backup options.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I ordered two dresses off of eShakti 7 weeks ago thinking they would be good for the memorial. The app still says "delivery before April 15" for the order but the items are still in "Fabric and kit creation" so I don't expect them any time soon. I did assume 2-4 weeks was optimistic but I thought 8 weeks might not be too much to hope for...

Yikes, I'm going to guess that if yours hasn't been delivered by 7 weeks, my 4-week-old order isn't even going to make it in time for our niece's wedding. Dang.

It still might! But it might not.
